Boatride back to the mainland and then a bus to the Caribbean beach town of Puerto Viejo.
Checked into our room and then headed into town to walk around and then down to the beach.
Then to a local restaurant for a Caribbean style chicken dinner.
Next morning up early for snorkeling and then a walk through the national park.
Difficult to see, but there’s a row of fruit bats on the tree.
Then in the afternoon Maureen went on a chocolate tour while I walked around town.
Followed by dinner in town and then cocktails on the beach.
This photo looks like it was a background, but just the way the light and moon and water was hitting this spot made it very bright and colourful.
Next morning a quick jump in the ocean for a swim before getting on the bus back to San Jose for our last night in Costa Rica.
